This trash can is great if your family produces a lot of trash. The wide mouth opening makes it easy to dispose of larger items. The top pops off easily for removal of the waste bag.I honestly don't know if the size of it is correct. It came with trash bags that were noted as being up to 23.8 gallons but when we put them into the can, they don't seem to reach the bottom. We typically utilize 30 gallon garbage bags which fit it pretty well and have enough space at the top to overhang the edge (under the top) and leave a good proper amount for tying off the bag at the end of the week.
