We keep personal information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes above, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (Privacy Policy, section 9). In California's terms these are: identifiers; customer records; commercial information; internet or network activity; approximate location from IP address; photos or videos you send us; professional information (business and affiliate contacts); and inferences used for advertising. We do not collect sensitive personal information (government ID numbers, precise location, health, biometric or similar data) — please do not send it.
Sale or sharing
Yes, for advertising, and only with your consent on this website. When you choose "Accept All", identifiers, internet activity, commercial information and inferences are made available to advertising companies (Google, Meta and Pinterest) so that we can measure and show advertising. California law may call this a "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. We also disclose personal information to the service providers who run the store for us: Shopify (platform, checkout, payments), shipping carriers, Klaviyo (email and texts), Judge.me (reviews), Consentmo (cookie consent and privacy requests) and hCaptcha / Cloudflare (form security), and within the EKO Group as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of sale / sharing: use the Do Not Sell / Share My Personal Information page, or choose "Reject All" in the cookie banner. A Global Privacy Control browser signal (an Opt-Out Preference Signal) is treated as an opt-out for that browser automatically.
- Cookies: change your choice at any time with Cookie Preferences in the footer.
- Marketing email and texts: unsubscribe link in every email; reply STOP to any text.
- Know, access, delete, correct, portability, appeal: submit a request on our US Privacy Requests page, email support@ekonorthamerica.com or call (866) 987-2980 (toll-free). We respond within the time the law allows (45 days in California). We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
