Questions
Frequently asked questions
How does the motion sensor work on the Nova?
The lid opens in 0.2 seconds when your hand is within range and closes automatically after 5 seconds for touchless disposal.
Can the lid stay open when needed?
Yes. Manual Open Mode keeps the lid open for longer tasks such as cleaning, changing bags, or disposing of larger amounts of waste.
How does the bag ring help with bag changes?
The bag ring holds the bag neatly in place and keeps excess liner out of sight. The detachable lid also makes bag changes easier during routine servicing.
How long do the batteries last?
The Nova runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries and can operate for up to 8 months under normal use, reducing the need for frequent battery changes.
Where is the Nova best suited for commercial use?
Its touchless operation, soft-close lid, and fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish make the Nova well suited for offices, hospitality spaces, reception areas, and other shared environments.
